Gizem Ak Yürek graduated from Galatasaray High School in 2011 and graduated from Galatasaray University Faculty of Law in 2015. She received training in areas such as law of personal data protection and criminal procedure law; at the same time, She successfully passed the mediation exam and was entitled as a mediator.

She started her legal career in a reputable law firm during her undergraduate education and continued her legal internship in this office; She has taken part in various national and international projects. Immediately after receiving the attorney's license, She started to work with Att. Ali Ürey and took an active role in the establishment stages of Ürey Hukuk. She is still working as a senior associate at Ürey Hukuk.

Gizem Ak Yürek, provides services in various fields of private law. She takes an active role especially in contract reviews and company consultancy, preparation, review, and negotiation of project contracts, process management of financial restructuring contracts, and personal data protection law. In addition, She follows-up cases arising in fields such as labor law, commercial law, the law of obligations, intellectual property law, IT law, and administrative law; She also participates in compromise and mediation negotiations.

She is fluent in English and French. She also speaks Spanish and Italian at an intermediate level. She is a member of the Galatasaray Association.
